Not a lady but...

1. Ask your doctor for a script for ';Seasonale';...you won%26#39;t have a period if you take this.

2. Any shark attack is extremely rare. Millions of folks swim off the islands every year and only a couple ever get bit. Your odd of beinghit by lighting or winning the lotto are about the same as a shark attack.

3. On a humorous note, make sure you swim with timeshare salespeople, sharks avoid them out of profession curtsey.

sharks.*question 4 da ladies*

you HAVE to be kidding

I don%26#39;t really know where to start on this one. I am tentatively assuming this question isn%26#39;t a joke because I checked aprilr%26#39;s other posts and she is going to Maui and I can see how someone might get this idea into their head (sort of). I%26#39;m hoping this post is genuine. If not, well, someone needs to get a life. So here goes.

First off, the main reason I%26#39;m responding to this odd post is to say this: seasonale is a birth control pill that cuts a woman%26#39;s periods down to one every three months, so you would have a period, just less often. Even so, it would be ridiculous to have a doctor presribe this kind of medication for this purpose only. Forget that idea. That someone would even suggest it is just plain crazy.

Second, April, I really don%26#39;t think you should worry about this. I%26#39;m sure every woman who%26#39;s been to Maui has had their period while there, and I%26#39;m pretty sure there haven%26#39;t been any attacks because of it. Just go and have a good time. I have been snorkeling on Maui for fifteen years and have never even seen a shark. Don%26#39;t worry.

thank u all soo much.. i know people think im crazy for being so scared but well i just wanted to make sure ... thanks for the replies

I beg to differ. Depending on your particular flow, there may be cause for concern. You will quite likely have a school of smaller fish stalking your crotch. If luck runs against you, your company may come in the larger variety. You should refrain from snorkeling out of consideration for others, if for no other reason.

Aloha :(

Tropix, please tell me you don%26#39;t believe your last post?

Try this article on for size. And just because it may attract a shark doesn%26#39;t mean you%26#39;ll be attacked. I actually was hoping to see a black tip cruising the reef, would have made for an awesome experience!

';That someone would even suggest it is just plain crazy';

OK I am just plain crazy..she asked what to do and I made a suggestion......my bad.

Jaws (the book, not the movie) has a lot to answer for...

..just watch out for those ';trouser sharks';....

(sorry, I couldn%26#39;t resist.; )
