first trip to hawaii

I am taking my first trip to Hawaii in may for 5-6 days. Any recommendations will be appreciated. Need hotel, flight, car, activities etc. I am in my early 20%26#39;s. Thank you.

First, you need to decide which island to visit. If you%26#39;re at all interested in historic and cultural sites, plus Waikiki and unspoiled Hawai`i, think about O`ahu. A couple of nights in Honolulu and the rest in one of the more rural areas.

Maui has a good mix of touristy and natural areas, plus many good restaurants, nightlife and great beaches.

Kaua`i is really for the romantic and/or nature lover. It%26#39;s natural beauty is hard to beat. Some good restaurants, many decent restaurants, little or no nightlife, wonderful beaches.

The Big Island is just that: BIG. Kona side is pretty touristy but has great snorkeling. Hilo side has the lush, natural beauty plus the Volcanoes National Park. You could do half your time on each, but you%26#39;d be pushing to see the variety of great things.

I would not recommend more than one island in 5-6 days.
