Westin Moana Surfrider

Hi,

We currently have reservations at Sheraton Waikiki (Deluxe Oceanfront), but the TA reviews of late have been pretty bad so Im thinking of a back up option.

Having a look at Westin Moana, either Deluxe Ocean (Diamond Wing) or Deluxe Ocean (Tower Wing).

Which wing would be better for both room %26amp; view ?

Also has anyone booked through Expedia %26amp; if so, was what you booked what you got on arrival ?

I would say Tower Wing.

We always stay in Deluxe Ocean in the Tower Wing. The rooms are a great size and we love the view. Stayed in the historic wing (ocean view) once and it was soooooo noisy, but have stayed in the Tower wing about half a dozen times (and are staying there again in a couple of weeks) and we think it%26#39;s great.

Stay in the Tower. We%26#39;ve stayed in the original section ... and it%26#39;s very nice -- but the rooms are small (unless you have a suite I guess). Not room for you, the luggage and the bed. Small bathroom. Still -- it%26#39;s kicky.

The other end - toward Diamond Head is not as nice. It%26#39;s the old Surfrider, and IMO, they should tear it down and start all over. Doesn%26#39;t smell very good ... isn%26#39;t up to par in many ways.
