I was wondering if anyone has been to the Lahaina Tree Lighting. This year it will be on Saturday Dec. 1st. I%26#39;m thinking that it would be crowded. I believe Saturday is also a day when the cruise folks will be there for the morning only.
We have no children and wondering if its something to go or stay away from during our 9 days in Maui. Maybe it will help us get into the xmas mood?

Lahaina Tree Lighting Dec 1st - fun?
It is fun with keiki. Santa comes, they have a snow pile where the kids can play. It is crowded with families and lots of kids under the banyan tree, but it ends early and you can walk Front Street while the crowds thin out.
