Waikiki hotels - help

Hi, I am just wondering if anyone could advise me on a good budget hotel in Waikiki, a good pool is needed, clean rooms and in a safe area?

I have checked out the Sandvilla Hotel and Celebrity resorts - which is the best or is there another similar hotel for a similar budget? We are staying over christmas and new year so we can%26#39;t afford one of the big beach hotels as ALL prices are higher over this period.

Please help!

Waikiki hotels - help

Celebrity Resort looked really very nice (I stayed next door at Hawaiian King earlier this year).

I also like The Breakers and The Hawaiiana Hotel on BeachWalk.
