feast of le le

deciding on the Luau, we will be staying at the Sheraton and i guess they have one there too.

my question is i%26#39;ve never been to one , my SO has.. I would prefer the feast of LE le from what i have read but my concern is someone said the food was appetizer portions.. for the amount of courses you have i think i%26#39;d be fine but wondering about him

how was the food/ drinks compared to the OLL or other luaus..

i prefer the nicer dining vs. buffet.. but want to be sure we both will be happy

You may have already seen this stream ... but lots of good info on this TA post -- tripadvisor.com/…8447314

And portions / enough food is NEVER a problem at any luau, plus since it is table service at Feast of LeLe, you can ask for MORE of a certain item without having to fight your way back up to buffet. The wait staff is very coooperative. No problems with food quality or quantity; drinks were good too ... but we are not big alcohol drinkers so probably could not tell how weak/strong they were.

Would highly, highly recommend the Feast at Lele over the traditional, buffet style luaus, of which I%26#39;ve been to a couple including OLL.

The Feast at Lele has four Polynesian themes (Hawaiian, Samoan, Tongan and Maori I believe) around which they base a show and food service. For each of the four themes they bring out three dishes, usually an meat and two side dishes. Add the appetizer they serve and dessert and you have 14 courses so naturally the servings will be a bit smaller. You will not leave hungry, quite the opposite! Also, if there%26#39;s a course you particularly like, you can request more from your server and s/he%26#39;ll be happy to bring more. You do have to be a little adventurous since the foods tend to be authentic rather than Americanized.

In addition to the food you also get unlimited drinks, including coctails, wines paired to the four servings, dessert wine and full bar service otherwise. All included in the price. I did each of their wine parings and they we%26#39;re quite good wines and well matched. I also topped it off with a lava flow that was very well made, whereas the buffet style luaus are sometime watered down.

IMHO, the Feast at Lele, while more expensive, is well worth the price.

The Feast at Lele was our most memorable experience! The food was good, but the view, service and entertainment were worth the price even without the food! The drinks were VERY good. We took a cab so that we could enjoy them... If your SO doesn%26#39;t like something, he can always request more of something he does like.

We will be on Maui in October and will be going back to The Feast at Le Le for the third time as my friends mom will be joining us and has never been. I highly recommend it and am sure you won%26#39;t be disappointed in the food, service, show or begerage choices. As far as the portions go you can always request a second or thrid helping of any dish.... they were very accomodating. Enjoy!

Thanks so much all!! i think i am definitely sold on this! and booking it

My wife and I have gone to both the Feast of Lele and the luau at the Hyatt Regency. There is absolutely no comparison, with the Feast of Lele winning hands down. Believe me, there is plenty of food, and they are very accomadating to special requests to the waiters and waitresses. My wife does not eat meat, and they brought over double fish and vegtable choices. We did not go hungary and the drinks were all top shelf. In fact, my wife asked if she could have her desert without rasberry sauce (cause she doesn%26#39;t like any food that ends in the word berry) and they brought her a double dessert without the sauce.

We considered the Feast of Lele a highlight of our vacation.
