Good Place to gather for a large group?

Where would a good place to gather be, for a group of about 40, the evening before a wedding? Restaurant %26amp;/or bar. Preferably the Kihei area or nearby.

Thanks.

it isn%26#39;t fancy but you could do fred%26#39;s it is right across the street from the beach. kam 2 area. a much better spot is mana kai just past kam 3 and the boat dock you have the beach there also man kai bar and sorrento%26#39;s but both kinda pricey

Mulligan%26#39;s. It is large and has lots of table seating on the lanai where you could sit, mingle, wander among yourself freely. Fred%26#39;s bar is small for a group of 40, noisy, and there is no place for you to all sit together. Mulligan%26#39;s would be my first choice.

How late are you thinking? Will there be eating or mostly drinking? The lanai at the Tiki Lounge would be my second choice. They have live music outside every evening. They have casual food, excellent pizzas, good burgers and an assortment of sausages, including vegan choices.

Another suggestion might be Lulu%26#39;s. I have been there with large groups and if you call them in advance they can set aside a section for you, usually the area on the inside of the bar, not the open area.

Tradewinds at the Maui Coast has a really nice patio bar near the pool that you could take over with a group of 40, and they have entertainment every evening. That might be nice if it is just for evening cocktails, but I don%26#39;t recommend the food there. We often use this as a meeting pace, have a few cocktails and then go to dinner elsewhere from there.

Mulligan%26#39;s would be my first pick for you, too, if you want ';casual';. If this is a more formal ';rehearsal dinner'; sort of thing, Seawatch might be good; it%26#39;s open-to-the-public at a golf course on a hill overlooking Wailea beaches.

kaiwahine -- Is there a clubhouse with food/drinks at the public course above Safeway?

Thanks for the great suggestions :-) This will be casual %26amp; not a ';rehearsal dinner';. Some will be arriving to Maui that day, so along with the drinking, I%26#39;m sure the food will be important, too.

I appreciate the suggestions :-)
