A special aloha to all, and the torch lighting party.

I just read thru the sept. 15 torchlighting posts, and could feel a wonderful spirit of aloha being shared by the board friends.

Indeed, very special, and says a lot about all of you. And, that this board is more than '; just what room to stay in, or which luau to attend, or where to get the best deals on rental cars.';

Of course that is all part of our being here, to HELP others to prepare for their visits, and be able to assit everyone in enjoy ing most wonderful and perfect visit to the Garden Island......but it also great to see the kindness, and true warmth of friendship, that comes along with the infromational posts.

On the 15th of sept, although we will not be able to join all of you for your wonderful evening, we will think of you.

Resting easily at anchor, We will be sitting in the cockpit of our sailing vessel, perhaps snugged in at Nara Inlet in the Whitsunday Islands.

Brewing up a simple boat drink at sunset, we will toast our Bundy rum, water, and lime.....clinking imaginary glasses to your maitais and lava flows.

Yep, it will be a different sunset, at a different time, but with sharing hearts.

I am so hoping to see you when we come in November. I love reading your posts and trust your suggestions in planning our excursions on Kauai.
