Does it rain a lot in Maui in Nov or Dec ? Planning a trip there and not sure about the weather

Where in Maui? Different parts get more rain than others... some parts hardly get any rain.

November through April are the rainier months in the Hawaiian Islands. Some parts of Maui get 12'; total a year, other parts get 100'; a year. The resort areas of Ka%26#39;anapali and Kihei/Wailea are the driest parts and the Hana area is among the wettest. The link below gives you access to the averages for Kahului (location of airport) which gets more rain than the resort areas. You can compare the monthly totals with your home area to get an idea of what to expect. But on average on the Leeward areas of Maui you should see plenty of sun even in the winter (it is the only time of the year I go in order to avoid our Minnesota winters).
