We are arriving in maui in july on honeymoon for a week.where are the must see%26#39;s and must do%26#39;s in maui and is the atlantis submarine trip worthwhile.also are there any hidden gems of local restaurants

I am linking the trip advisor over view of Maui. If you type in must see and do in the Maui forums then you will get many many posts similar that have already been answered.

For local restaurants yes there are local gems that are NOT on trip advisor, please go to Chow Hound or Yelp. They have MUCH better advise than Trip Advisor for food. It might help to get a few guide books as well.In regards to the submarine each person has different opinions on it. You can also type submarine ,Maui on youtube and see it for yourself. Some people say you see more snorkeling and it is very claustrophobic. Some say they enjoy the novelty of the submarine ride itself.
