Rest Rooms

I%26#39;m just wondering about the use of rest rooms in Waikiki. Do the hotels let you walk in off the street to use the rest rooms in the lobby ?

Rest Rooms

If you are on the beach there are public restrooms on the beach. There are also public restrooms in various shopping center and stores, such as, Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, Waikiki Plaza, DFS Galleria, Macy%26#39;s etc. Since there are so many choices, I actually have not used Waikiki hotel restrooms, but I don%26#39;t see why it would be a problem.

Rest Rooms

The fun part about waikiki is that it is like one big resort we all share, I use everyones restrooms and go to several hotels. I will drink my coffee at the Moana, lunch at the outrigger, cocktails at the royal and dinner at the reef.

I%26#39;m not sure about walking in off the street... I can%26#39;t imagine anyone would stop you, but sometimes I have found the lobby restrooms are locked.

I normally use the ones along the beach which are public, or I purchase to eat or drink something somewhere.

So true Longboard. Anyone can enjoy all the hotels along Kalakaua Ave. I have not used all their restrooms but most of them you can use as they have restaurants in their hotels.

But the restrooms on the ground floor of Waikiki Beach Marriott were locked. I remember this because just when I really needed one they were locked. Ask one of the staff and they will let you in.

Lobby restrooms at the Outrigger Reef were locked.

We were in Waikiki last month and the restrooms on the 2nd floor in both the Outrigger Waikiki and Outrigger Reef were available for anyone to use. As restaurants are located in both hotels in addition to gift shops, facilities are available.

Most hotels that have bars and restaurants have open washrooms. We never had a problem just walking in and asking for one, no one ever asked if we were hotel guests, and we would do anywhere Shereton, Hiltons, I don%26#39;t care... when you gotta you gotta,, LOL

The Hilton rest rooms are open and very posh! The one behind the main check-in desk is particularly nice!

I can%26#39;t imagine that any hotel would not let you use their restrooms, as long as you don%26#39;t make it *obvious* that you%26#39;re not staying at the hotel. As others have said, there are public restrooms on Waikiki, so you%26#39;ll have plenty of options. Be forewarned, though: the public restrooms are not the cleanest and best-equipped.
