Hawaii HELP For March

Can%26#39;t honestly say which one is the best, but i can say to avoid the Starlet. It is a crappy boat. The crew all seem to have that drunk, out there attitude. The only thing they%26#39;ll tell you is where the beer is. You won%26#39;t get any kind of education. They say there are naturalists on board, but it%26#39;s a joke. On top of that, they harrass the whales, getting well within 100 yards which is against the law, and circling the boat. And then they%26#39;ll kill time (cos lets face it, there aren%26#39;t a lot of whales in Oahu) by riding up and down in front of Waikiki. I don%26#39;t know how much time you have on the islands, but a better idea would be to swing by Maui and take a trip there.

TBBM .... first of all, whale watching cruise last approx. 2 hours. I have taken both the Navatek and Star of Honolulu .... the Navatek goes further beyond Diamond Head towards Koko Head and you get to see more of the the Waikiki and Kahala Coast line. The Navatak is a hydofoil that goes above water. The Star is a three store ship. During this time, the whale watching cruise offers the guarantee sighting of whales or offer you the return if no whales are seen.

For snorkling, almost everyone goes to Hanauma Bay. You can do TheBus #22 for $2 one way from Waikiki and back.

Good luck,

Are fins allowed at the bay - or even needed? Is there any snorkling at all on Waikiki? How about at Magic Island? Thank you.
