Honolulu Aquarium or Maui Ocean Center?

Which has more to see the Honolulu Aquarium or the Maui Ocean Center? We will be on Oahu and Maui, and wish to visit only one aquarium.

Honolulu Aquarium or Maui Ocean Center?

I have been to both and personally prefer the Maui Ocean Center as there is definitely more to see.

Maui Ocean Center.

The Honolulu aquarium is small, although it is very cheap as well so if you have time a stop there wouldn%26#39;t take up much time or money. But if you only want one then do Maui.

Definitely the Maui Aquarium!!! The shark exhibit is one of the best I have seen. They also have a great gift shop and honu exhibit.

We visit many aquariums but this one has been one of our favorites.

Both are good, and unique in the fact that they focus on Hawaiian marine life. The Honolulu Aquarium is affiliated with the University of Hawaii, and we who work at UH use it often as a resource for our students. With that said, you will find the Maui Ocean Center more extensive and elaborate, partly due to the fact they are a private organization and arent tied to state budgets. If it were me in your situation, I would choose Maui Ocean Center.
