Promised 13 and 14 yr. old boys we%26#39;d end our maui vacation with 3 days at one of the major resorts with one of the super gardens/huge pools etc. (Have read trip advisor reviews of Westin about worn rooms, and that Hyatt beach not good for swimming). Which pool is best? Any other hotels with super pools and slides? Other than pool which hotel is nicest?? Would appreciate advice on what the boys will enjoy most! (I%26#39;m already happily booked in a quiet condo before this!)Thanks!

Westin Maui generally considered second best; but water can be kind of chilly for my taste (particularly when the wind is blowing).
Nicest hotel on island is arguably the Four Seasons Wailea, but I like the facility and grounds of the next-door Grand Wailea much better; it is incredible and was the most expensive hotel ever built (on a cost per room basis) when constructed.
The nearby Fairmont Kea Lani is also impressive and quite luxurious.
Westin or Hyatt ? or any other for teens and ';super'; pool?well if you dont like the hyatt beach you wont like the westin beach because its the same beach. if the pool is the big thin the hyatt has the newer pool with lots of kid friendly things. I havent stayed at the hyatt but its been renovated more recently than the westin.
yes the grand wailea has the best pools but it is also on the other side of the island and it is very pricy. but if thats not a problem id definately go their.
The Westin and the Hyatt both have nice pools. I think your boys might like the Westin more because it%26#39;s in the middle of all the action. The pool slides are fun and the beach in front of the hotel is great for playing in the water. The beach in front of the Hyatt is not as nice and can be rocky.
The Hyatt is a beautiful hotel, though, and the rooms are probably larger than the Westin%26#39;s.
The Westin is also right next door to the Whaler%26#39;s Village with restaurants and a food court that%26#39;s great for snacking.
We stayed there last year and our room was not worn. They remodeled a couple of years ago. The rooms are small, but nice.
