Maui Ocean Club 1 vs Ocean Club 2?

We are looking to book accomodations at the Marriott Maui Ocean club- when I phoned a reservation agent she asked if we wanted Club 1 or Club 2- when I asked what the difference was, she was only able to tell me #2 was newer- no more information. Can someone help me with a little more information? What is the difference between the two ? Any pros or cons? Is the pool at the newer building #2, just as nice as the original?

I would appreciate feedback from someone who%26#39;s stayed there recently.

you want building two, newer, cleaner, bigger, you can use pools are both places as its pretty much treated as one resort.

Maui Ocean Club 1 vs Ocean Club 2?

Maui Ocean club 1 is the original Marriott. It is a timeshare made from hotel roooms. They are nice, but no real kitchen or washer/dryers in the rooms. J

#2 is the new villas, just built. They are very nice, but usually much more expensive to rent.

They both share the super pool and there is a new quiet pool at #2.

I am a multiple week owner at the M.O.C. (the older section you are referring to as Club 1). Previous posters are correct; the newly opened Lahaina Villas (Club 2) are much nicer units (not that there is anything wrong with the Club 1 units). I have not toured the Lahaina Villas but the interior photos of the villas look very nice. The pool at the new building isn%26#39;t as nice as the main pool but you have access to both. FYI, I just posted a review of the M.O.C. on this site.
