Harley Rentals

We are coming to the island the first week in October and are thinking of renting a Harley. I was told by a friend that comes on a regular basis that the rental rates and duration are different for tourists an opposed to the locals. Any feedback on this? We will be staying in Kapaa and need some info on whom to rent from and prices.

Thanks,

Sunnycam

My husband and I rented a Harley for the day when we were on Kauai in February 2006. We rented from a place in Lihue--can%26#39;t remember what it was called. I want to say we paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $200 for several hours....it didn%26#39;t seem too bad. It was nicer than our Fatboy at home :-)

they keep moving around. Used to be down in Nawiliwili. Before that behind ABC a few blocks in Kapaa.

The phone book has HD/Buell Motorcycles at 241-7020 advertising rentals and open 7 days a week. Map shows the location south of Lihue in Puhi. IIRC it%26#39;s just past the traffic light by the Shell station and just across from the Community College.

For prices -- give them a call. (808 area code)

that other link was out of date.

There is a Harley rental right on Kuhio highway in Kapaa.

Locals always get a better rate for everything.

Glad you asked that question Sunnycam! We are also traveling to the island the first week of Oct. %26amp; my husband wants to rent a Harley for a day while we are there. I%26#39;ll give this place a call. Thanks!
