Our trip isn%26#39;t until March 18th. 2008, but I need some input on an inter-island flight.
We get into HNL at 2:55 p.m.(Tues), that%26#39;s if all goes on schedule.
We are leaning toward going to Maui( ongoing decision) for the first week.
There is a 4:50 p.m. flight to OGG or a 5:20 p.m. flight, that I am looking at. What do you think?
Thanks for your thoughts.
HNL to OGG. Flight time question.Hi! The 4:50 will give you plenty of time. I%26#39;d stick with that. Have fun!
HNL to OGG. Flight time question. The 4:50 would give you two hours -- plenty of time. The flight between the islands is very short - maybe 20 minutes.
As the others said, the connecting time should be fine... provided your flight gets into Honolulu on time. If it is late, thats another story.
Before booking an interisland flight, check the airline policies on rescheduling for reasons beyond your control. They may rebook you for free, they may charge a fee, or they may make you buy a new ticket.
You may wish to book a later flight to give yourself more time. Chances are you%26#39;ll end up sitting around the airport, but in the event of a delay, you might be glad to have that extra time.
Well, just a few days ago H Air had some flight time changes.
Now that 4:50 flight is 4:35 instead.
The next later flight is 5:20 p.m. Now I%26#39;m not sure what to do.
HA rep said there is a shuttle we can take from when we get off of Continental, to HA. We will need to get our luggage and get checked in for the HA flight.
I called Continental to see if we could check our luggage from Detroit to Maui. She said ';no';, because our tickets are from DTW to HNL. Bummer, because that would have been great not to have to deal with our luggage when going on to Maui.
