Luau

With all the Luau%26#39;s available which do you recommend. First time to the Islands and would love a great show. Thought about the PCC but they offer so much and Iam mostly interested in just the food and entertainment.

Luau

PCC has the best Polynesian entertainment in Hawaii. Spend the day there.

Ali%26#39;i Luau Package for $80 is a good package there.

Luau

Germaine%26#39;s is the most fun, has way better food (kalua pork to die for) and allows you to enjoy a drink as you watch the show. Your guide/escort for your busride out is half the fun, and I always look forward to seeing them. The drinks aren%26#39;t world class, but still pretty good, and the Blue Hawaiis will keep you running back to the bar for more all night.

Paradise Cove is fun and worth going, but I wouldn%26#39;t pick it over Germaine%26#39;s. While Germaine%26#39;s is family style (sitting on grass mats and such) Paradise Cove is a little more formal feeling and has waiters. Good show, and better than PCC but not as ';glitzy.'; Worth checking out overall.

PCC has an enjoyable show and some quaint, but not wholly accurate, exhibits to walk around and see. You%26#39;d have fun there, but for the money and time investment it isn%26#39;t worth it. The food is ';Meh'; at best and the show, while enjoyable, is a little too ';Vegas lounge act'; for my, and most of my friends%26#39;, tastes. Bottom line is PCC = Vastly over-hyped.

Many hotels also have luaus, but I haven%26#39;t visited them so can%26#39;t comment. Overall, my advice after multiple visits and incredible fun had is to visit Germaine%26#39;s and have a blast. Leave PCC to its shills and people who enjoy being misled.

Fia Fia at Ko Olina is by far the best.

Is that the Marriot? Do they allow walk-ins, or hotel guests only? I%26#39;m interested.

Paradise Cove

It%26#39;s been a while, but I don%26#39;t remember Paradise Cove being called Fia Fia. Are you sure? Our tour group guide never called it that, anyway; just Paradise Cove. If it is, then yeah, I%26#39;ve been there, but it doesn%26#39;t sound the same.

They are two different luaus.

Fia Fia Luau is at Ko %26#39;Olina Beach Club %26amp; is only one night (I think) a week.

The Fia Fia Luau is every Tuesday night at the Ko Olina Beach Club. Paradise Cove is just down the road. It is also on one of the lagoons of Ko Olina.

We went to both the Paradise Cover %26amp; PCC one.

The PCC one gave more of a ';buffet restaurant feel';, the entertainment wasn%26#39;t that great...but enough to make dinner enjoyable.

We really enjoyed ourselves at Paradise Cove, we bought the deluxe package which included 2 8x10 pictures they took of us when we arrived, front row seating for the show (we sat right in front where the ';catwalk'; part of the stage came out), a waiter, dinner was brought out to us (no waiting in the buffet line) and a mug (gift shop type).

Overall, a great time that I would not hestitate to go back and do again.
