Place with Pool, Near Beach

I think we are too picky, but we really would like to find a vacation rental or hotel with a pool, a short walk to the beach, and no more than around $650 per week. Oh yeah -- good snorkeling nearby would be nice. Our dates are Sept.18 to Sept. 26.

We have seen this around Makaha, but too many people on the forum have said that Makaha isn%26#39;t that much fun.. We prefer North Shore or Kailua or anywhere nice.

Any ideas?

Finding a rental anywhere outside of Honolulu or Waikiki may be tricky escpecially for that price. My suggestion would be to try searching or either VRBO.com or Vacationrentals.com as both will give you a pretty good idea of area/price/availability.

We found a place place in Kailua, very near the beach. It has a tiny pool.

It%26#39;s Auntie Barbara%26#39;s, and we are paying $75 per night, $588 with taxes for the week.

When we come back home we%26#39;ll report how nice it was or wasn%26#39;t.
