which island to visit in february

Hi

We%26#39;re planning a trip to Hawaii in mid February. We need to know which island has the best nightlife, matched with good beaches and day trips. We%26#39;re in our late 20%26#39;s. We plan on staying for 5 days. We%26#39;re prepared to island hop during our stay and would appreciate any advice on this.

With 5 days, don%26#39;t island hop. You lose about 1/2 a day changing islands.

You could do a day trip to a different island as that doesn%26#39;t involve time checking out of one hotel %26amp; checking into another.

Stick with Oahu. There is more to see %26amp; do on Oahu than any other island.

Lots of info including sites with free brochures for all islands:

What you are asking is not on any one island.

Oahu..best night life...so so weather, big city, fair beaches small island over 1million pop

Kauai, Poor weather, no nightlife, very small rural

60,000 pop

Maui: fair weather, moderate nightlife, good day trips, excellent beaches secong largest island 100,000 pop

Big Island: No nightlife, best weather, outstanding day trips, few beaches , Active volcanoes, 160,000 pop.. but 6 times larger than Maui..10 times larger than Kauai , 8 times larger than Oahu

dont waste your time island hopping it takes over half a day to fly to another island...with check in, security... figure the 20-40 min flight will take close to 2.5 to 3 hours ....each way

On a 5 day stay you will loose one whole day traveling to and from the state...you only have 4 days in reality.....pick one place and stay there.

Thanks a million for your advice. Looking forward to our trip now.

Get the ';No Worries Hawaii'; book. It%26#39;s especially for planning and covers every island. My advice is don%26#39;t island hop, too little time and you%26#39;ll waste too much time at the interisland airports.

I%26#39;m a little concerned. Are you planning to visit THIS month? Please don%26#39;t think you can just show up and be able to find lodging. February is one of the most popular months in Hawaii, with many places booked a year in advance.
