Anyone know if you can hear the music from Old Lahaina Luau from Lahaina Roads condos? We plan to stay there %26amp; would like to enjoy some QUIET evenings on our lanai. Any comments are greatly appreciated! missyb870
Noise from Old Lahaina Luau
Not sure if you can hear the music from the condo you are staying in, but the music starts once the sun goes down (dark) and it%26#39;s only for about 2 hours or so.
Noise from Old Lahaina Luau
Thanks for the info!
If you order Maui Revealed - which is a good guide book for activities and locations [EXCEPT where they suggest ignoring private property or No Trespassing / Kapu signs], you get a code listed in the back of book that lets you log onto Wizard Pub web site and see their aerial views of south and west Maui with all the properties clearly marked. You can tell which property, even which buildings, are beach front, ocean view, how far away, etc. This is a great resource. Since Lahaina Roads is at 1403 Front Street, and OLL is at 1251 Front Street %26amp; Feast at Lele is further away at 505 Front Street, you should be fine.
When we first started going to Maui, we stayed in Lahaina at the condo complex, right next door to the luau location - forgot the name, it has changed since then. We went down to the beach one night and watched the show; had a surprisingly good view. You could sort of hear it from the pool area or the balconies, but definitely not that loud, esp. over the sound of surf. The next door neighbors celebrating luau did not disrupt our ';relax and watch the stars lanai-time'; on the evenings we were there.
Thanks, you%26#39;ve been helpful. I have heard some good things about the Maui Revealed book so I%26#39;m definitely going to order it now.
i%26#39;ve been using it as my guide in planning our may 2008 vacation.it%26#39;s great everyone should have one if planning a trip to the hawaiian islands
