Rooms Napili Kai

We have an oceanview room reserved at Napili Kai. Has anyone stayed there and can receommend a building. Hoping ocean view means ocean view and don%26#39;t have just a peak of ocean.

Are all rooms decorated the same? I%26#39;ve heard some are updated more then others? Please suggest a building!

Our reservation confirmation indicated exactly which building we are in...(we%26#39;re in Keaka 1). Also, their website tells you which type of rooms are in which building - and they have a map showing placements of the buildings.

We just returned earlier this week from our ninth trip to Napili Kai. It is a wonderful resort - very old Hawaii feel - and I%26#39;m sure you will have a great time. Frankly, there really is not a ';bad'; room on the property. That said, depending on the experience you are seeking, some are better than others.

The best of the Ocean View rooms are on the second floor of Lani II which offer sweeping views of Napili Bay. First floor of Lani II are nice as well but the roof line of the Lani I building are more in your sightline. Don%26#39;t get me wrong, the view is still stunning. Just being picky. The Aloha building (where the lobby offices are) also has terrific views of the bay. But I believe most of the rooms in that building are more hotel rooms and don%26#39;t have the kitchenettes.

Keaka 1 and 2 sit up behind the putting green and offer ';okay'; views of the ocean (particularly Keaka 1) and those rooms are a bit larger as they are the newest buildings on the property. But if I could choose, I%26#39;d definitely go for upper floor of Lani II

Most all of the rooms have been remodeled in the past couple of years. The only ones left that do not have AC anymore are in the Beachfront Lahaina Bldg.

Napili Kai is our favorite place to go and just relax. You will love it no matter what room you have. When you have dinner in the restaurant, ask for John and tell him you%26#39;ve heard about his riddles. John is a hoot and has worked there for 28 years. You will see many long time employees like that at Napili Kai which speaks volumes about the place.
