HNL to OGG. Hawaiian Air tweeks schedule.

I posted before on HNL to OGG flight schedule. Land at HNL at 2:55 p.m. Catch flight to OGG at 4:50 p.m.

Replies all said it was enough time to do this schedule.

OK so now H. Air has changed that schedule. The flight to OGG now leaves HNL at 4:35 p.m.

We have to collect our luggage as it isn%26#39;t checked all the way through to OGG.

Is the 4:35 still enough time for us?

The next possible flight is at 5:20 p.m.

Why isn%26#39;t it checked all the way through? CO code shares with Hawaian so you should be able to as long as you have confirmed reservation with Hawaiian.

Bill, I don%26#39;t have the H. Air yet. Even if I did already have it, the schedule would have changed on us.

I called CO to see if we could get luggage checked all the way thru to OGG. Rep said NO. But maybe it amkes a difference when I get the H Air tickets. What do you think?

Yes it does make a difference. Without a confirmed reservation they won%26#39;t send your bags along, it is a security thing other wise you could just have them sent to Hong Kong if you wanted...

Now, for the other question, on the time frame of the OGG flight....having enough time once we land at HNL and getting to the OGG flight. Is it too scrunchy??

You should be more than fine assuming your CO flight is on time or close to it. In fact with an hour and 40 minutes you can have a lava flow while waiting for your flight to OGG...lol
