Anyone ever stayed at this one; we travel to Hana a lot, but don%26#39;t recall this lodging option. For 3 adventurous and fairly flexible adults on a budget - who do like clean but know that geckos are part of the bargain in a rainforest, i.e., not ready for Hotel Hana Maui price scale.
Description says it is located 3 miles past Hana Town in the Maka’alae District; and that it is 2.5/2 house on 2 acres of private land w/ 40 acres of unoccupied pasture in front as well as 85 acres of tropical rain forest and views of Mt. Haleakala behind the house. And that there is both a master bath and an outdoor bath w/ shower.

We know sometimes local maintenance is an issue in Hana; and some properties are not consistently well maintained; things can get run down so quickly in the tropical rainforest climate.
