Taste of North Shore?

September 29, 2007 is the Taste of North Shore...

I can%26#39;t seem to find much info online...

Does anyone have more info? Is it worthwhile? It%26#39;s $50/person, so I%26#39;d like to have a little more info...

Here%26#39;s a description.

Taste of North Shore under the full moon and starry skies will be held at Paia Beach Park (Baby Beach) next to the Paia Youth %26amp; Cultural Center, 28 Hana Highway, Paia. Food samplings from some of Maui and the Northshore%26#39;s finest restaurants - taste all you want; musical entertainment from Hula Honeys and Voodoo Suns; a silent auction and cash bar (beer and wine). An adult only event - over 21. Tickets $50.00 available in advance at Mana Foods and Anthony%26#39;s Coffee Company in Paia.

Taste of North Shore?

I bet if you called Mana Foods,someone would have a link or a list of which restaurant / food vendors will participate. If Moana, Jacques, or Mama%26#39;s is represented would be a good event. If this is an annual happening, check Maui News archives for coverage from former years. And if they include some goodies from Makawao too ... oh wow!!!

From Paia Cultural Center info -- Fax # (808) 579-8955; email to person handling silent auction -- erockwell@yahoo.com

And they state ... ';For more detailed information contact: Eileen @ 283-4100';

Taste of North Shore?

Ok, I did some more digging and ended up emailing one of the contacts. Not used to having a hard time finding info on the internet...

Here%26#39;s a link to the event:

Not very helpful...

The person I emailed added this:

Most of Paia%26#39;s restaurants are participating (Jacques, Mambo, Cafe Moana, Charleys, Cafe Des Amis, etc.).
