Pancakes?

Hi all,

We are headed to Maui in October--staying in Kihei. One of our friends went on and on about the the most fabulous bananna pancakes with coconut syrup, he couldn%26#39;t tell us exactly where he had them other then it was near the Four Seasons or maybe in it.

Anyone know where I can find my pancakes? Okay, I%26#39;m a total foodie, any thing else not to miss...our 12 and 14 year old will be with us--so family places.

Pancakes?

You can get banana pancakes with coconut syrup any where on the island. The best I hear is up in Napili at the Gazebo restaurant. Never had breakfast at the Four Seasons so don%26#39;t know about that. The best breakfast place in Kihei is the Kihei Caffee on S. Kihei Rd.

Four Seasons has lemon ricotta pancakes! My absolute favorite, hands down.

I think maybe the Gazebo in Napili. We had breakfast there, about an hr wait but the view is awesome - Napili Bay.

I had the Pineapple pancakes, hubby had Mac Nut, Banana and Pineapple combo. Coconut syrup was delicious!

Would definitely go again...

I second the Gazebo not only for the pancakes but for the view. We also had great ones at Charlies in Paia and Stella Blues in Kihei. We even bought syrup at Kmart to take home and pretend we were in Maui.

You%26#39;ll find the syrup most anywhere to take home......a must!

Oooh, lemon ricotta pancakes are so good. With raspberry coulis!

Fred%26#39;s in Kihei were very good and didn%26#39;t cost that much. Great coconut syrup. We ate a couple of times.

Another vote for Kihei Cafe. We went after reading the recommendations we read here at TripAdvisor, banana macadamia nut pancakes were so awesome, syrup is almost optional on those guys. We stayed in Ka%26#39;anapali/Kapalua or we would%26#39;ve eaten there more often. Java Jazz was still a better place for breakfast IMO though, that%26#39;s in north Ka%26#39;anapali, almost Kahana.

I second Java Jazz. They have the best pancakes and food period. The pancakes are the size of plates. You will truly enjoy them.
