Hello fellow vacation-goers! I am attempting to find a hotel on Oahu that is decently priced and pretty much just to have a place to sleep for 3 days. I do not want to stay anywhere sketchy, however I do not expect a luxury resort. The few hotels I have found for the best prices are The Hawaiian Monarch Hotel, the Waikiki Gateway Hotel, the Queen Kapiolani Hotel, and the Ocean Resort Hotel. Any feedback on these hotels would be wonderful! Also, if anyone has any better references for affordable hotels, please pass those on! Thank you!
Need affordable hotel recommendations in Oahu
The Royal Grove Hotel is a small family owned hotel in the same area as The Queen Kapiolani and the Ocean Resort and has a kitchen and a/c.
The Gateway is on the other end of Waikiki as is the Monarch I have no personal experience with the ones you mention other than their location and what some have told me.
A couple of people have said they were fine with the Queen and the Ocean Resort but specified the newer tower there.
