It is on the east side of the island, and looks inland, but I can%26#39;t tell exactly where. The owner is giving us a good deal, but I can%26#39;t find ANY information from previous renters.

sure looks like the area between Kamalu Road and the Sleeping Giant preserve in the Homesteads area of Kapaa.
very quiet and convenient area. you are maybe 3 miles from the beach but you can go down Kuamoo to head south or Ohohena to go north and thereby miss the Kapaa traffic either way.
It%26#39;s a development of roughly 80 acres behind some older homes backing up to the mountain. New houses, large lots. Might see some pigs and hear some chickens but that%26#39;s about it. We lived 1/4 mile from there and enjoyed the area. Friends have a house there and like it. Great mountain views. Can be a tad rainy in winter.
