Can anyone provide an update regarding construction in the area of Kiahuna Plantation? We are considering staying there and just wondered how it might affect our stay.

You can probably do a search on this topic....
But they are doing a bunch of construction projects in Poipu. If you have been here before, you will be surprised to see the new bypass that takes you from Poipu Rd to Ho%26#39;onani Rd. This bypass is the heart of the construction in this area. While there is construction on Poipu Rd, I do not think you will be affected by it as far as noise is concerned. It is just an eyesore driving through the construction....

Thanks. I%26#39;ve never been to Kauai before, so it has been kind of difficult figuring out where the construction is and what it will affect. It seems that every property I look into has some sort of construction going on.
I also meant to ask in my first post...does anybody have any opinions on Poipu Makai? That is another option but it seems like it%26#39;s awfully crammed in between other buildings.
