If you had to pick one?

We have a few days pretty unplanned (which is FINE) for our upcoming October 2 week trip.

Would you take a day trip over to Molokai or to Oahu? I%26#39;ve never really been into seeing Oahu (except for the non city like areas) but hubby would love to see Pearl Harbor.

Molokai looks like it would make for a cool diversion.

Thoughts?

Thanks!!!

Molakai would be a fun short trip from Maui. I have taken a boat to Molakai from Maui before. We had a good time but probably wouldn%26#39;t do it again. It si the most ';hawaiian'; of the islands. They have active things to do there such as horseback riding etc...

If you went to Pearl Harbor you would want to make sure you were on the earliest flight(s) of the day. If you are not at Pearl Harboar before noon or 1pm there is no guarantee of being able to see it all.

They hand out tickets which give you a start time for your tour, usually 1 - 2 hours after purchase.

I used to live on Oahu and have been at PH in the early afternoon when they were sold out for the rest of the day. You would hate to get there and not be able to see what you wanted to.

since I have been to Oahu I would pick Molokai. It just depends on what you are looking to do because they are both so different.

Trilogy runs a wondeful Sunset cruise to Lana%26#39;i that we REALLY enjoyed...great food, great staff and ,if you wish, a fun tour of Lana%26#39;i Town. They also do a Sunrise cruise...too early for us!

The winery also makes a great day tip, Pa%26#39;ia, Makawao, fun drive...wines not bad either!

Pearl Harbor is tough if you are not staying on Oahu, the early bird DOES get the worm. That said, if you do Pearl Harbor be sure and drive up to the Punchbowl...my Favorite place on the island, affected me more than the Arizona...also the best views of Honolulu.

In 3 weeks I%26#39;m back! Whoohoo
